When he said we were free when it was just him and me I was in charge of the flowers.
But it didn’t seem fair, I felt like I was trapped there. And my hair grew on fire.
Blood runs through the line
And all the streams decline
Facing bone
Streams decline facing bone
It was a matter of time but it would all come to my mind.
Losing space
Time constraints
Broken veins
Burn you
It was a matter of time but it would all come to my mind.
You were a cascade of colors said it would all be fine in the end
Naked in the end

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
